Ziggy Marley wins GRAMMY for Best Reggae Album

Ziggy Marley, multiple Grammy winner and son of Bob Marley, has been honored with a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony on February 12th, 2017, in Los Angeles. His self-titled solo album “Ziggy Marley” has been released via V2 Records/H’art in May last year. The musician also performed the song “Amen” from his current album:

In 2007 Ziggy Marley won his first Grammy solo for the Album “Love Is My Religion” as Best Reggae Album. The album “Family Time” won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children. His live album “In Concert” and his 6th studio album “Fly Rasta” were both honored for Best Reggae Album Award in the years 2014 and 2015. Together with his band Ziggy Marley And The Melody Makers he won three Grammys in total end of 80s and 90s for Best Reggae Album as well.
